Gulnara Kasmalieva and Muratbek Djoemaliev is a Kyrgyz visual artist duo from Bishkek, which received the Prince Claus Award in 2010. An important work by Kasmalieva and Djoemaliev from 2006 is A New Silk Road: Algorithm of Survival and Hope. The work is about the influence of increasing globalization along the ancient Silk Road that runs through Kyrgyzstan.
