El Salvador

Cerro El Pital is a mountain in Central America on the border of El Salvador and Honduras. The mountain is located 12 kilometers from the town of La Palma in El Salvador and has an altitude of 2,730 meters, making it the highest mountain in El Salvador. The mountain is one of the greatest tourist attractions in El Salvador, with a great biodiversity in flora and fauna. In the cloud forest there are a number of rare plants and rare birds such as the Quetzal.
