Djibouti

The capital of the country has the same name and is therefore also called Djibouti. It is an important port city in East Africa on the Gulf of Aden. It is located at the entrance to the Red Sea. Ships bound for the Suez Canal make a stop here. Port activity is therefore, after salt extraction, the country's most important source of income.
