Tourism is slowly emerging in Lithuania. One of the main tourist attractions is the castle and town of Trakai, west of Vilnius, amid the many lakes in the Trakai Natural Park. The castle was built in a style typical of Lithuania: reddish brown brick, round towers and red roofs.
