Fenmei came here as a 9 year old girl to live with her mother. She was raised by her grandparents and she didn’t really know she had a mother here. In 1911 the first Chinese arrived in Rotterdam and in 1930 they started their first restaurant on Katendrecht. Here the Dutch learned how to go out.
