Sierra Leone is called the country with the most beautiful beaches in Africa. The Atlantic coast of Sierra Leone has long white, pristine sandy beaches. Along the coast of Freetown are numerous hotels, eateries and nightlife. There are also plenty of interesting historical sites such as the ancient Creole villages on the peninsula, a slave fort on Bunce Island, the Banana and Turtle Islands, the Bintimani Mountains, mangrove forests and the Charlotte Falls waterfalls.
