Kosovo

Much of Kosovo's surface is mountainous. The Sar Mountains are located in the south and southeast, on the border with Macedonia. This is one of the most popular tourist and ski areas in the region, with Brezovica and Prevalla as the main tourist centers. Kosovo's highest mountains, including the highest mountain Gjeravica (2656 m), lie to the west on the border of Albania and Montenegro. These mountains belong to the Albanian Alps.
