Cuba

Cuba is a country in the Caribbean, consisting of the island of Cuba, Isla de la Juventud and more than 4000 smaller islands. Cuba is bounded on the north by the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean, on the east by the Windward Passage, on the south by the Caribbean Sea and on the west by the Yucatan Strait.

Cuba is also known for its music. Around the turn of the millennium, older Cuban music in Europe experienced a revival due to the Buena Vista Social Club project. Following this, solo musicians such as Ibrahim Ferrer and Compay Segundo, Ruben Gonzalez and Pío Leiva also achieved success here at a very old age.
