Delegation host Juri – Letland

Juri has Armenian roots. Now that his own home country is not participating in the Eurovision Song Contest, he can receive the Latvian delegation. “That’s convenient, because I speak Russian.” He has never been to Latvia. He will have to wait and see whether he will go there after Eurovision. “It kind of depends on whether they’re nice people,” he jokes. “It seems like an interesting country. The Baltic countries have always appealed to me, but you don’t go there that quickly.”

He wants to show his Rotterdam as a host. Even though this year it is mainly a commute between Ahoy and the hotel in a tour bus. “The delegation was allowed to choose two tours and they chose both outings in Rotterdam. I like that about them. People often make a mistake in Rotterdam if they don’t know the city. But you have to experience it here.”Delegation host Juri – Letland
