750 years Schieland and Krimpenerwaard Water Board

May 14, 2023 marks the 750th anniversary of the Schieland and Krimpenerwaard Water Board. Throughout the anniversary year, they will bring attention to the importance and necessity of good water management. They do this together with young people, all other residents and companies in their working area. They learn from the past, act in the present and provide sustainable solutions for future challenges. This is how they have been working on dry feet and clean and sufficient water for 750 years.

In honor of this wonderful milestone, the Flag Parade hoisted the banners of the Schieland and Krimpenerwaard Water Board.
