Damian moved to Rotterdam because of the Summer Carnival: ‘So special and festive’

SONG FESTIVAL FACES | The Eurovision Song Contest is the perfect time to celebrate the diversity of Rotterdam. In May, 41 countries come together here, but the rest of the year is no different. Time to ask our fellow Rotterdammers about their country of birth. Today: Damian Zarebski from Poland.

He lay in the grass with his eyes closed. Every now and then he opened it and looked at the clouds. The city shimmered around him. It was Summer Carnival. A motley crew of colorful people passed him by. And he thought: I’m home.
