Somalië

Somalia has been inhabited by humans since the Paleolithic Age. Evidence of this has been found through the discovery of rock carvings in northern Somalia dating back to 9000 BC. The best known of these are the Laas Geel drawings, one of the oldest drawings found on the African continent. Inscriptions have been found under the drawings, which, however, cannot be deciphered by the archaeologists at the moment.
